Therapy Services

A gentle, nature-based approach to emotional wellbeing

At Renew Animal Assisted Therapy & Counselling, we offer a range of services that support emotional regulation, stress release, confidence building, and reconnection, with self, others, and the natural world. Each session is tailored to the individual and may include horses, dogs, or simply time in nature.

Equine - Assisted Therapy Session

Healing in connection with horses

Our therapy herd offers a calm and grounding presence that supports emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and greater self-awareness. These non-judgemental, co-regulated sessions are especially beneficial for young people, trauma survivors, and those who feel overwhelmed by traditional talk therapy. No horse experience required.

Dog - Assisted Therapy Session

Compassionate connection in a calm setting
For some, the steady presence of a dog can offer comfort, grounding, and emotional safety. Our therapy dog is part of sessions that may involve talking, sitting quietly, walking through nature, or simply being together. These sessions are ideal for individuals who may find it hard to engage in traditional therapy or who respond positively to animal companionship.
